Shirogami Hammered by Tojiro

The Tojiro Shirogami Hammered Series features traditional single-bevel Japanese kitchen knives, engineered for high-precision, symmetrical cutting and slicing food into very thin pieces without food sticking to the blade. The forged blades of this specific series showcase a handmade Kurouchi finish, constructed with an exceptionally tough Shirogami (Yasuki-Hagane) steel core forged with outer iron layers. Hand-sharpened on a single side at 15° by experienced Japanese craftsmen, every knife in the Tojiro Shirogami Hammered Series delivers optimal sharpness. The collection is fitted with round handles crafted from durable magnolia wood, designed to ensure a comfortable, ergonomic grip and complete control during use across the entire series.
(Note: The knives in this series are high in carbon and are NOT stainless; very careful cleaning and thorough drying after each use are strictly required to prevent rust).
